He was predeceased by: his parents, Colvin Gish and Doris Gish; and his brother Mark. He is survived by: his children, Tim Gish (Melissa) and Lisa Sweeney (Matthew) of Shawnee, KS; his grandson Zack Sweeney; his brothers, Paul of Lee's Summit, MO and Chris of Garden City, MO.; his cousin Cheryl of Linn, MO; his mother-in-law Darlene of Raytown, MO; his sister-in-law Debbie of Raytown, MO; his sister Beckie; his siblings-in-law, Doug of Blue Springs, MO and Sharon of Kansas City, MO; and his aunt Beverly. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grace United Methodist Church (3601 S Sterling Ave, Independence, MO 64052).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
