He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Downey Murphy; and his sister Sharon Lee Brim. He is survived by: his sister Peggy Murphy; his children, Maureen (Bob), Sean Murphy and Anne Roberts; his grandchildren, Will Fraundorfer, Michaela Fraundorfer, Mary Bird (Dustin) and Sarah Simmons (Zackery); his great grandchildren, Ricky and Reagan Bird; and his sister-in-law Loretta Ross.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church (8941 James A Reed Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138). A prayer was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
