He was predeceased by: his parents, Ouita Childers and Harlan Childers; his siblings, Darla Crider and Bill Childers; his son Ty Owens; and his great grandchild Ty Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Owens; his daughters, Shonda Hackler and Tonyea Inglis (Kenny); his grandchildren, Shonice Scruggs, Taylor Owens (Brooke), Haley Owens, Lane Inglis, Sean Hayes and Brianna Inglis; and his siblings, Terry, David Childers and Judy Wilkins. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the City Union Mission.
