He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carper and Grace Carper. He is survived by: his wife Micheline Carper (Mikki); his daughters, Kristy Carper and Patricia Bolius (Tripp); his grandchildren, Jakob, Brady and Avery; his brother Donald Carper (Nadine); and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Thawley and Kathy Shaffer (Daniel).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
