With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Dominic Shanta (Reeds Spring, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Tommy Shanta; and his stepfather Richard Norris. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his parents, George Shanta and Carrol Norris; his sisters, Kristy Maschke, Tammy Battaglia, Holly Crapps and Erin Zahner; his children, Randi Packard (Max Packard) and Matt Shanta; and his grandchildren, Hadley, River and Rowen Packard.

In lieu of flowers Mike would have loved if donations were given to food pantries.
