He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Barr and Bernice Barr of Manchester, TN; his brother Kenneth L. Barr of Steger, IL; and his pets, Copper, Kaleb, Sammi, Oreo, Tux, Callie, Abbie, Hayden, Gretchen and Rocky.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Barr of Renick, MO; his sons, Gary W. Barr II of Nashville, TN and Joshuah L. Barr (Mandi) of Lowell, IN; his stepchildren, Jill Wood (Mike Vanwinkle) of North Liberty, IA and Justin; his grandson Blake L. Barr of Lowell, IN; and his siblings, Darlene Lumbley (Herman Lewis), Wanda Spivey (Mike) of Manchester, TN, Dale Barr of Manchester, TN, Will Barr (Reggie) of Steger, IL, Roger Barr (Sabena) of Manchester, TN and Danny Barr (Diane). He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren.
