He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Day and Maude Day (Looney); his son Rick; and his siblings, Benton, Kenneth and Emogene McDaniel.

He is survived by: his former wife Maxine Conn; his wife Mary Ann; his children, Danny Day (Donna), Larry Day (Gail) and Kim Cole (Greg); his daughter-in-law Cindy Day; his grandchildren, Chris, Wes, Deanna, Orlena, Zach, Jessi and Kristin; and his brother Leo Day. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church (305 N Main Ave, Republic, Mo 65738).
