We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 84, Charlotte Shelton of Republic, Missouri, born in Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Charles Root and Opal Sophonia Root (Sala); her husband Dale Ray Shelton; her sister Elizabeth Root; her brother-in-law John Castillo; and her niece Dawn Renea Castillo.
She is survived by: her son Dale Shelton (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Levi Charles Shelton (Kaylea Dawn) and Abbie Rae-Ann Melton (Joshua); her great grandchildren, Sophia, Aubrie, Leo, Walker, Sadie and Archer; her sister Wilma Sharon Castillo; and her nieces, Deana Marie Castillo and Denett Rachel Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meadors Funeral Home - Republic Chapel (314 N Main Ave, Republic, MO 65738). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
