He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Gardner and Jewel Gardner. He is survived by: his son J. R. Gardner; his daughter-in-law Brandi Gardner; his grandson Bradley Gardner; his daughter Susan Parker (Michael Parker); his granddaughter Tara Beard (Troy Beard); his great grandchildren, Everly and Audrey Beard; Julie O'Leary (Austin O'Leary). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
