He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smith and Nedra Smith (Bowling); and his grandfather Haywood Smith. He is survived by: his wife Dana; his children, Tasha, Ryan, Michael and Marcus; and his sisters, Pam Smith-Schaefer and Melissa "Missy" Scott. He is also survived by other extended family and countless friends.
