He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Grotewiel and Dolores Grotewiel (Eldringhoff); and his brother Michael Grotewiel. He is survived by: his children, Libby Grotewiel and Tyler Grotewiel; his daughter-in-law Casey Grotewiel; his grandchildren, Taylor, Tanner and Grant Grotewiel; his siblings, Annette Berkley (Tom Kovac) and Steve Grotewiel; his sisters-in-law, Joni Grotewiel and Brenda Grotewiel; and his nieces and nephews, Evan Grotewiel, Lauren Salzman, Morgan Grotewiel and Andy Lenger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home (1221 Washington St, Hermann, MO 65041). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given to the cemetery.
