He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hough and Flossie Bell Stewart Hough; his wife Laile; and his sons, Johnnie Hough and Bret Hough.
He is survived by: his children, Kip Hough of Kansas City, Missouri and Patricia "Tish" Burchell (Randy) of Rich Hill, Missouri; his grandchildren, John Hough (Sabrina) of Texas, Bret Hough (Irene) of Texas, Courtney Briggs (Camden) of Clinton and Amanda Nichols (Wyatt) of Rich Hill, Missouri; and his sister Sharlene Lyle of Arizona. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
