He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bovay and Jessie Bovay; and his grandson Nathan Jeffries. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Teresa Hunt (Ken), Randy Bovay (Susan) and Jamie Bovay (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Nikki, Alexandria (Jacob), Patrick, Matthew, Andrew and Samara; and his great grandchildren, Lyndsay, Lezly, Oaklie and Kimber. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Richland United Methodist Church (111 S Pine St, Richland, MO 65556). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Campground Cemetery (13015 MO-7, Stoutland, MO 65567).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richland Methodist Church Scholarship Fund or the Richland Senior Center.
