As we bid Bettie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bettie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Schooler and Mildred Schooler; her husband James Benjamin Martin; and her daughter Linda Emley. She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Beard; and her children, Mike Martin (LeaAnn) of Smithville, Missouri and Jane Flexter (Gregory) of Indian Hill, Ohio.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
