He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Nathaniel and Rebecca Cole, Sr. (Scott); his daughter Lillian Turner; his grandson Travis Turner; and his siblings, Lloyd Cole, Kenneth Cole Jr., Larry Dean of Albert, James Cole, Leroy Cole, Marilyn Bass, Joan White, Ruth Ann Miller, Mildred J. Allen and A. C. Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Lorenzo Hawkins of Belton and Angel Gant of Arkansas; his granddaughter Tanessa Turner of Kansas City; and his siblings, William Cole of Warrensburg and Verda Johnson (Robert) of Blue Springs. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St John Cme Church (1625 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Prairie Church Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Association.
