She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Smith and Adaline Smith (Allmon); her husband David Earl Leakey of Norborne; and her sister Janet Ritzinger. She is survived by: her sons, David E. Leakey (Kim) of Richmond and J. Todd Leakey (Kathy) of Hardin; her grandchildren, Cole Leakey (Abby), Shane Leakey (Mercedes Shaon), Stephanie Hughes (Jesse) and Nakisha Leakey; and her great grandchildren, Kobe, Kora, Kashlyn Hughes, Ryland Smith and Chloe Thompson.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ray County Humane Society.
