He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Joseph "Jep" and Jennie Louise Bowman (Mason); his brother James "Corky" Bowman; his parents-in-law, Vernon O'Dell and Joanne O'Dell; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Wayne Hardwick.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Bowman of Hardin, Brian Bowman (Danielle) of Richmond and Jeff Bowman of Richmond; his grandchildren, Chloe Bowman, Kalel Bowman, Noah Bowman, Abe Arthur, Eli Bowman, Tatum Bowman, Peyton Pennington (Garrett) and Karsyn Bowman; his great grandchild Navy June Morrissey; his siblings, Sue Carter (Ritchie) of Pleasant Hill, William Bowman (Lisa) of Grain Valley and Ron Bowman (Jeanie) of Surprise, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Hardwick and Jim O'Dell (Vicki). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Richmond Christian Union Church or the Humane Society of Ray County.
