She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Burns and Helen Burns (Parrot); her daughter Theresa Stewart; and her sister Lola Huffman. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Burns (Kim) of Richmond and Tina Wilson of Richmond; her siblings, Steve Burns, Lula Folsom, Joyce Ferguson, Betty Case and Mary Enslo; and her grandchildren, Tony (Annika), Crystal Nowak (Josiah Laguna), Colton Burns (Dee) and Ashton Damien (Martin). She is also survived by her family, friends.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
