He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Edward and Florence Ruth Hendrix (Newton); and his siblings, John Franklin Hendrix, James Russell Hendrix, George Prosper Hendrix, Daniel Eugene Hendrix, Herbert Austin Hendrix and Florene Mae Hendrix.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Lowell Hendrix (Bea) of Millville, Luther Edwin Hendrix (Lisa) of Liberty, David William Hendrix of Hurst, TX and Karen Dana Bailey (Monte) of Sunrise Beach; his grandchildren, Megan Crook (Cory), Dr. Matthew Hendrix (Erin), Morgan Hendrix (Rachel Hughes), Samuel Hendrix (Casey), Clay Hendrix, Madison Hendrix, Sarah Courtney (Jeremy), Melissa Hendrix, Daniel Hendrix (Raven) and Denise Bogema (Jason); his great grandchildren, Ivy Crook, Cas Crook, Alena Hendrix, Abel Hendrix, Maya Hendrix, Zoe Hendrix, Kristin Courtney, Kendall Courtney, Savannah Bauman, Kurtis Hendrix, Kade Hendrix, Tyler Klee, Landon Klee and Delaney Mahon; and his sister Dorthea Grady of Cameron.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Millville United Methodist.
