With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lowell Edwin Hendrix of Richmond, Missouri, who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lowell Edwin Hendrix to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Edward and Florence Ruth Hendrix (Newton); and his siblings, John Franklin Hendrix, James Russell Hendrix, George Prosper Hendrix, Daniel Eugene Hendrix, Herbert Austin Hendrix and Florene Mae Hendrix.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Lowell Hendrix (Bea) of Millville, Luther Edwin Hendrix (Lisa) of Liberty, David William Hendrix of Hurst, TX and Karen Dana Bailey (Monte) of Sunrise Beach; his grandchildren, Megan Crook (Cory), Dr. Matthew Hendrix (Erin), Morgan Hendrix (Rachel Hughes), Samuel Hendrix (Casey), Clay Hendrix, Madison Hendrix, Sarah Courtney (Jeremy), Melissa Hendrix, Daniel Hendrix (Raven) and Denise Bogema (Jason); his great grandchildren, Ivy Crook, Cas Crook, Alena Hendrix, Abel Hendrix, Maya Hendrix, Zoe Hendrix, Kristin Courtney, Kendall Courtney, Savannah Bauman, Kurtis Hendrix, Kade Hendrix, Tyler Klee, Landon Klee and Delaney Mahon; and his sister Dorthea Grady of Cameron.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thurman Funeral Home (507 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Millville United Methodist.
