We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Mary Ruth Acree of Richmond, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Merriman and Martha Merriman (Carter); her former husband Curtis Ray Proffitt of Richmond; her husband Henry Acree of Richmond; her son Daniel Roe; her brothers, Pete Merriman and Eugene Merriman; and her son-in-law Christopher Wayne Reed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Blyth (Bubby) of Orrick, Lisa Nelson (Larry) of Richmond and Lori Millsap (Brad Davis) of Richmond; and her grandchildren, Kody Reed (Megan), Baley Reed, Tabitha Hess (Steve), Jedediah Blyth (Jenny), Sabin Millsap (Scott), Brogan McKown (Scott), Korbin Kirkendoll (James), Braxton James and Easton James. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thurman Funeral Home (507 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Miss Ray County Scholarship Pageant.
