He is survived by: his children, Bobby Chowning (Robin), Mike Chowning (Julie), Carla Pratt (Earl), Karen McMillian, Shelly Weisz (Chris) and Leta Davis; his grandchildren, Bert (Kyla), Megan (Ryan), Lisa, Kristen (Conner), Kadee, Caleb (Alaze), Emily, Lyndsey (Adrian), Isabella, Nick, Adriona (Michael) and Trevor; and his great grandchildren, Marlee, Bradyn, Preston, Brynlee, Sophie, Carter, Lilly "Sissy", Kamrynn and Beckham.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Richmond or the American Heart Association.
