He is survived by: his son William Joseph Nickell of Warrensburg; his stepson Dustin Aaron Nickell of Lexington; his daughter Katrina Marie Roach (Darby) of St Joseph; his grandchildren, Stormie Roach, Alexandria Nickell, Makayla Nickell, Mayci Nickell, Isaac Roach, Elizabeth Nickell, Zachary Nickell, Liam Nickell and Levi Nickell; his great great grandchild Jasper Bloss; his sisters, Connie Nickell of Rayville and Mary Reynolds of Richmond; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Walker of Richmond.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Children's Mercy Hospital.
