She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Strini and Betty Strini; her grandson Lucas Spalding; and her sibling Robin. She is survived by: her husband Gregory Miller; her sons, Brian Spalding (Windy) and David Spalding; her grandson Jacob Spalding; and her siblings, Rhonda Bartlett (Andrew Fletcher), Regina Lamason (Chadd) and Richel.

Memorials may be made in Renée's name to Open Door Animal Sanctuary in House Springs.
