He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Gubser and Elsie Gubser (Werner). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Thompson; his children, Lora Lea Owen (Randy), Patricia Limpert (Jonathan) and Travis Gubser (Mindy); his grandchildren, Connor Owen, Cameron Owen, Piper Limpert, Shea Limpert, Mason Gubser and Elsie Gubser; his siblings, Cheryl Newhouse (Larry) and Marvin Gubser (Jeanne); and his stepsiblings, Wyatt Hock (Mary Ann), Keith Hock (Gail) and Brenda Bohenblust (Jay). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hamburg Fire and Rescue, Cameron Owen Memorial 4H Scholarship or St. John's Lutheran Church in Westboro, MO.
