He is survived by: his nephew Bill Chadwill; his children, Terry Messenger, Jeani Pennington Messenger, David, Camille Messenger and Tamme Messenger; and his grandchildren, Austin (Jordin Messenger), Hailey Messenger, Nathan (Kimberly Messenger), Justin (Lexi Messenger), Dakota (Meriah Messenger), Mariah (John Cossey) and Ethnie Becraft (Alec).
