She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Patterson and Goldie Patterson (McHaffie); her husband Red; her sisters, Barbara Marlin and Norma Sue Groh; her brothers-in-law, Arthur Marlin and Charles Roy Groh; and her niece Deborah Harvey (Lester John Harvey Sr.).
She is survived by : her nephews, Harvey Smith (Lucille) of Rogersville and Ben Marlin (Stephanie) of Greensboro; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Laura Richardson (Philip) of Springfield, Breanna Marlin of Greensboro, Lester John Harvey Jr. (Stacey) of Rogersville, Curtis Marlin of Enumclaw Washington and Arthur Marlin of Greensboro.
