He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Cowan and Frances Cowan (Rippee); and his brother John Anthony Cowan. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Charlene Madsen; his children, Laura Charlene Rude (Ian), John Robert Cowan and Charles Cowan; and his sisters, Patricia Frances Collins (Mike) and Elizabeth Orene Witt. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. D. Lee & Sons Funeral Home (7405 E Ferrell Ln, Rogersville, MO 65742).
