He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mykola Petrovych Boshtan and Kalyna Trokhymivna Boshtan; his former spouse Lidiya Semenivna Plaksyva; his children, Vitaliy and Alinochka; his wife Zinaida Vasylivna Yakovets; his children, Ihor Ivanovych Osadchuk (Nataliya Anatoliivna Osadchuk) and Alina Valentynivna Petrashyshen (Vasyl Valentynovych Petrashyshen); his grandchildren, Dianka and Sofiika; his son Viktor Valentynovych Boshtan (Roksolana Romanivna Boshtan); and his grandchildren, Danyil and Emily. He was also cherished by his wife, children, and four grandchildren.
