He is survived by: his friend Jeff Jones; his former wife Myrtle Pankey Watson of St. James, Missouri; his sons, Jamey Bunton (Annie) of Birch Tree and Jason Bunton (Olivia Noble) of Licking, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Tyler Bunton (Sam), Dustin Bunton (Felina), Jasper Bunton, Airyn Schultz (Justin), Gatlin Bunton (Madison), Spencer Noble (Hayli), Reuben Peters, Destiny Ratcliff (Ethan) and Dylan Donnelly. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
