With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Lee Jones of Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on April 28, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elmer and Gladys Cook Moreland; and her siblings, Kenneth Moreland (Rachael), Wayne Moreland, William Moreland, Robert Moreland, Margaret Feeler-Ridenhour (Julius) and Janet Roach.
She is survived by: her husband Wally; her children, Terry Jones (Mary) of Houston, Texas, Teresa Jones (Billy Sullivan) of Belleville, Illinois. and Stormy Foster (Clifford); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hoppe (Trey), Angela Scofield (Jason), Quinton Bowman (Hannah), Cameron Bowman and Ethan Jones; her great grandchildren, Ford, Hailey, Mary Kate, Heidi and Lucilia; her brothers, James Moreland (Helen) of Rolla and Donald Moreland (Stephanie) of Tipp City, Ohio.; and her siblings-in-law, Joy Moreland, Iris Moreland, Glenda Davis, Robert Roach, John, Dixie Jones, Mike, Barbara Jones and Mary Lou Modde. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Null & Son Funeral Home (1010 Kingshighway, Rolla, MO 65401). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Bernice are suggested to Greentree Christian Church.
