She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Newman and Mary Brines (McCord); her husband Dr. William "Bill" Frank Parks; her grandmother Maria McCord; her daughter Stefanie Maria Elder; and her siblings, Kenny Newman, Robert Newman, Richard Amick, Pamela Tomasetti and Candace Grookett.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Heberlie (Joe) of Rolla; her brother Jeffrey Amick of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Justin Eli Heberlie of Rolla, Jacob Sinclair Heberlie (T. Sullivan) of St. Louis, MO, Kane C. Meek of Rolla and Jace Robert Elder of Rolla; her niece Dawn Watters; her great-niece Anneka Watters; Alex Watters. She is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Null & Son Funeral Home (1010 Kingshighway, Rolla, MO 65401). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
