Clara Lou Gillett Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Lou Gillett of Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on November 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Allen Bacon and Clara Bacon (Calvert); her son Daniel Gillett; her brother Johnnie Dale Bacon; and her son-in-law Richard McKinnon.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Gillett; her daughters, Kristie McKinnon of Waynesville and Laura Light (Kenny) of Rolla; her daughter-in-law Leigh Gillett of Austin, TX; her siblings, Norma Clary (Jim) of Tulsa, OK and Dennis Bacon (Michelle) of Lee's Summit, MO; her sister-in-law Sharon Bacon of Spring, TX; her nieces and nephews, Kate Seyman (Michael), John Gillett, Joseph Gillett and Elizabeth Gillett; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Richie McKinnon, Melissa Vernon (Brian) and Nickie McKinnon; Jenna Gove (Chris), Clarissa Nisbett (John), Rebecca Reynolds (Russell), Meredith Koenig (JL) and Matthew Light. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends.
