We bid farewell to Gary Lee Hewlett of Rolla, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 6, 2025 at the age of 71. Gary Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Connie Hewlett; his children, Gregory Hewlett, Michael Hewlett (Kate) and Jennifer Yamnitz (Brad); his grandchildren, Tim Nichols, Doug Arthur (Ashley), Alex Arthur, Nick Hewlett (Kenzy), Joe Hewlett, Holly Wade, Elizabeth Yamnitz, Abby Yamnitz and Nathan Yamnitz; his sisters, Kimberly Hewlett, Karen Barton (Scott) and Kelly Lamar; his brothers-in-law, Ken Wagner, Jim Wagner and Ron Wagner; and his nieces, Sarah and Emily. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James & Gahr Mortuary - Rolla (1651 MO-72, Rolla, MO 65401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
