He is survived by: his wife Janet Wood (Davis) of Rolla, MO; his daughters, Jessica Wood of Rolla, MO, Jaime Wood (Isaac Emfinger) of Rolla, MO and Jacee Wood (Clayton Newburry) of St. Louis, MO; his sister Jerri Whiting of Lee Summit, MO; his grandson James R. Wood; his nephew Christian Whiting; and his nieces, Zoey Whiting and Gabrielle Whiting.
