It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Allan Swift of Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Eleanore Swift; his wife Kay Swift; and his siblings, Ernest Swift and Cheryl Wehrly. He is survived by: his father Hugh Swift; his grandsons, Joshua Gallier (Nicole Swift) of Greeley, CO. and Donovan Logan of Ft. Collins, CO.; his stepchildren, Shane Kinsel, Shannon Payne, Stephanie Kinsel and Sherry Kinsel; his brothers, Hugh Swift Jr. of Farmginton, MN, Lyle Swift of Harrison, OH and Tom Swift of Denver, CO.; and also, Chad Swift and Melissa Gallier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Diamond Event Center (1325 S Bishop Ave suite b, Rolla, MO 65407).
