It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Elsensohn (Rolla, Missouri), who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Roush Elsensohn and Doris Elizabeth Elsensohn (Hammond). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Dr. Sarah Kaelin (Mike) of Rolla, MO and Mark Elsensohn (Erin) of St. Louis, MO; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Kaelin, Matthew Kaelin of Rolla, Charlotte Elsensohn, Luke Elsensohn and Grace Elsensohn of St. Louis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Null & Son Funeral Home (1010 Kingshighway, Rolla, MO 65401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (17 St Patricks Ln, Rolla, MO 65401).
Memorials are suggested to the Pregnancy Resource Center of Rolla or the Veterans Community Project to build tiny homes for veterans in need of housing.
