He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaines Martin Pugh and Carrie Mabel Pugh; his wife Barbara Ann Smith; his former wife Carol Hall; and his sisters, Betty Louise Scherer, Doris Ann Ponzer and Irma Lee Canfield.
He is survived by: his children, James "Jamie" Pugh (Tammy Hubbard) of Knoxville, TN and Katherine "Kathy" Winters (Ronald "Ron") of Rolla, MO; his stepdaughters, Sheri Richer and Janet Bowe (James); his brother-in-law Jack Smith of Texas; his grandchildren, Nicholas Winters of California and Nichole Chrisman of California; and his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Neary, Kelsie Hill, Dakotah Thompson, Kendra Gensimore and Caitlyn Hatfield. He is also survived by numerous other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews.
