She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Goodrich and Mildred Goodrich (Akers); her son Mark Rice; and her sisters, Mary Melvin and Evelyn Trickel.
She is survived by: her husband John Rice; her daughters, Debra Clark (Walter) of Rolla, MO, Denise Boger (Jeff) of Cornielus, NC and Kara Smith (Brian) of Manhattan, KS; her daughter-in-law Lois Rice of Moncure, NC; and her sister Karen Prewitt of Trenton. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Southern Baptist International Mission Board, supporting missionaries bringing the hope of the gospel around the world, or to a charity of your choice. Monetary donations can be made by check to IMB c/o Shelburne Baptist Church.
