She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Helms and Zoe Helms (Crocker); her son Allen Mathes; her grandchildren, Amanda and Lucas; and her siblings, Doyle Helms (Linda), Paul Ray Helms, Charlene Civey and Glenda Hedgecoth (Don).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brian (Paris), Chris (Kylie), Mikie, Jenna (David), Krista (Jarod), Jenny (Danny), Andy (Ashley), Travis (Kristen), Blake, Karter, Christian, Destiny and Jamie; and her brother-in-law George Civey. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the "Let Your Light Shine Scholarship Fund" in memory of Mary's granddaughter, Amanda Gann.
