He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Spencer and Lucy Spencer (Feeler); and his brother Don Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Adra; his children, David (Stephanie) and Tracy (Rodney); his siblings, Archie (Sandra), Mary Sue (Tony) and Linda; his grandchildren, Megan (Brandon), Emily (Kevin), Sarah, Wyatt (Sydney), Logan (Sarah) and Alyssa; and his great grandchildren, Asher, William, Ava, Ellie, Elizabeth, Joey and Teddy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Lutheran Church (229 W James Blvd, St James, MO 65559). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Shag's memory are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church.
