He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew "Tony" Matlock and Mary Matlock; his mother-in-law Pearl Woods; his siblings, Jean Smith, Dorothy Smith (Bland), Mary Jane Poor and Dee Matlock; his brothers-in-law, Dick Kreuger and Dick Parkhurst; and his son-in-law Arlynn Jones Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Linda Matlock (Tucker); his children, Matthew Matlock (Trudy), Michael Matlock (Susie), Dionne Drennen (Jim) and Jessie Jones; his sister Nancy Parkhurst; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Bartle (Dave) and Marvin Smith; and his pet Sheba. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
