Verlena Raye Dillon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlena Raye Dillon of Rolla, Missouri, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verlena Raye Dillon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Gordon and Gary Poe; her sister-in-law Delores Poe; and her nephew Timothy Poe. She is survived by: her parent Leverett Harley Poe; her children, Derrick Dillon (Melissa) and Desiree Booth (Emmit); and her grandchildren, Zach Dillon (Ashley), Tyler Dillon, Michael DeBlasi, Samantha Roshan (Nick), Alexander DeBlasi, Noah Maddox, Ebonie Snead, Fayth Booth and Sadie Dillon. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greentree Christian Church (800 Greentree Rd, Rolla, MO 65401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens (12110 S Bishop Ave, Rolla, MO 65401).

And should have done more. She loved you ! Just give this tough time to Jesus. He knows how to get you through this situation and in the days ahead. I do need to tell you a funny. About 4 years ago, I got a video chat from Verlena and I answered. But we didn't know how we did it. We had fun”
