She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roscoe "Ted" Young and Jewell Lenora Morris Young; her former husband John Wesley Boring; her husband Rex Winter; her sons, Tony Boring (Missy) of Seymour and Ellis Boring (Carmen) of Seymour; her siblings, Paul Young (Bonnie) of Rogersville and Vineta Hamilton of Springfield; her grandchildren, Matthew Boring, Michelle Curran (Bill), Angela Fysh (Martin), Mandy Boring, Mark Boring (Kristen), Jacob Boring (Madison), Bailey Bates (Talon) and McCoy Boring (Tyffany); and her great grandchildren, Connor Fysh, Jackson Curran, Alexa Curran, Sophia Boring, Charlee Felton, Rowan Boschert, Heston Brashears, Merit Boring, Sadie Bates, Bently Knifong and Bowdie Boring. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
