He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hume Wright and Dorothy Maxine Caviness Wright; and his siblings, Mary "Trudy" Merriott, Virginia "Ginger" Wall and Roy "Junior" Merriott.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Gail McKee Stone; his children, Matthew "Mac" Stone (Kristie Guhse), Van Franklin "Sonny" Stone II and Shari Stone-Ulrich; and his brother Michael Wright of Savannah, MO.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren plus extended family.
