He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hirschvogel and Nadine Hirschvogel (Murphy); his sister Janet Rose Hirschvogel; his nephew Gary Gier; and his parents-in-law, Jerry and Shirley Bergman.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Bergman; his son Jason (Leshia); his stepdaughters, Heather Garnett-Dean (Matt), Traci Distler (Adam) and Jordan Faiferlick; his sister Barb Gier (Art); and his grandchildren, Hayden (Sophie), Hannah (Braeden), Amber (David), Jessica (Kelly), Stacia, Ella, Ava, Connor and Bennett. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; in-laws; several nieces and nephews; and countless close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the The Branch (3007 Main St, Lohman, MO 65053). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.).
