He is survived by: his grandchildren, Stacy Knop (Brian), Matt Shadow (Laura), Adam Shadow, Evan Maysent, Alex Shadow, Blake Shadow (Kelly), Erin Potrykus (Ben), Andy Samples, Tim Samples (Kathryn), Nathan Samples, Matthew Griese (Audrey), Jonny Griese, Faith Griese, Tommy Griese and TJ Griese; his great grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley Knop, Bennett, Preston Shadow, Brady, Mason Potrykus, Jackson, Isabel Samples, Lily and Chloe Griese; his stepdaughter Angie Stewart; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney Flores (Gregg) and Cody Reiter; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Greyson and Willow Flores. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Collier's Funeral Home (3400 N Lindbergh Blvd, St Ann, MO 63074). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
