She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Speekman; her son Derek Detraz; her sister Veronica Brown; and her parents, Eugene Brown and Edna Brown.

She is survived by: her son Christopher Detraz; her grandson Eric Hurst; and her brothers, Bob Brown, Steven Brown (Phyllis) and Dennis Brown.

Due to St. Louis County COVID-19 Mandates, masks must be worn by all visitors and a maximum of 50 guests will be allowed in the funeral home and cemetery.
