He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward "Eddie" and Leona W. Halbig (Berberich); his brother Leo E. Halbig (Lee); and his sons, Stephen M. and Robert M. Halbig.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Halbig; his sons, David (Lisa), Michael (Malu) and Tim Halbig (Jamie); his grandchildren, Ana (Dan), Matthew and Emma; his sister Nancy Decker (Mike); his sisters-in-law, Linda Halbig (Lee), Jane Boudreau (late William) and Jeanne Boudreau McMenemy; his friend Dan Derby; and his child Frankie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Collier's Funeral Home (3400 N Lindbergh Blvd, St Ann, MO 63074-2103).
