She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Varel and Wilhelmina Varel (Rohr); her husband Carl Sparlin; her son Irvin Sparlin; her great grandchild Abraham Shear; and her siblings, Walter, Clarence, John and Lydia.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Bradford (Michael) of Prescott, Arizona, Glen Sparlin (Pearl) of St. Charles, Mark Sparlin (Melissa) of Santa Maria, Shirley Graham (Tim) of St. Charles, Mary Green (Dennis) of Pocahontas and Jody Stephen Sparlin of Aurora, Illinois; and her sister Dorothy Wellinghoff of Breese, Illinois.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
