It is with great sadness that we announce the death of April Kay Hoekenga of Saint Charles, Missouri, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blessman and Erma Blessman. She is survived by: her husband Brad Hoekenga; her stepdaughters, Amy Darr (Matt) and Emily; her stepgrandchildren, Caroline, Ben, Lily and Remedy; and her brothers, Tom (Deloris), Merlin (Pam) and Donald. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and thirteen grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Grace Presbyterian Church or Joni and Friends.
